Reliable Legal Information in Arabic and English

The experienced legal educators at the BC Arabic Legal Support Centre will provide you with relevant legal information to support you with your legal issues.
What is our mission?
The law is already hard enough for the average Canadian. The BCALSC strives to make the law accessible for newcomers and immigrants whose first language is not English and may need additional support.

We only provide publicly available legal information and navigation. For legal advice or services, please reach out to a lawyer, law firm or legal clinic. We can help connect you with the right resources. We only serve British Columbians at this time.

Can't afford a lawyer? You may qualify for assistance from Legal Aid BC.

Don't qualify for Legal Aid? Try the BC Lawyer Referral Service. You can receive a free consultation with a lawyer and may qualify for affordable legal representation.

Do you require an Arabic speaking interpreter for your court hearing? Let court staff know as soon as possible that you need an interpreter. The court will appoint an interpreter.

The BC Arabic Legal Support Centre (BCALSC) provides the most up-to-date readily available legal information. We rely on dependable online sources such as the BC Government, Legal Aid BC, and other BC societies. We do not provide legal advice or services. BCALSC is not responsible for any actions taken by individuals after receiving information from BCALSC.
